“Tumbling” is designed to be a developmental form of gymnastics that is friendly
and non-competitive. This class will build physical, mental, emotional, and social skills that
will greatly enhance coordination. “Tumbling” class includes mat work, as well as large amounts
of stretching and muscle strengthening activities. Students will learn terminology as well as skills that will progress at an individual pace starting with basic forward and backward rolls leading to cartwheels, back handsprings and eventually difficult tumbling passes. This class can only enhance coordination needed for cheer leading and any athletic activity.
